An Unsolicited Opinion
May 8, 2008
We received this letter from one of our racers. It’s very satisfying to know that our efforts are appreciated. We thought we would pass this along to our readers, and acknowledge that it did, in fact, make our day, Linda! And, thanks to the gentleman in the NHRA shirt.
I am traveling this week for work, and I happen to be in Elkhart, IN. When
I returned from dinner, and entered the elevator at the hotel, a gentleman
also entered with an NHRA shirt on. I asked him if he was a fan or racer.
He said that he was a racer. I asked where he raced, and he said all over
the country. They attend NHRA national and regional events. I asked if he
was going to Norwalk in June, and he replied yes. I told him that Norwalk
was our home track, and he said that we were very spoiled, that Norwalk was
one of the best facilities in the country, and that the pound of ice cream
for a buck is a satisfying experience in itself. Just wanted to let you
know this little story. Hopefully, it will make your day.
See ya in a couple of weeks.
