Area Amenities
Norwalk Raceway Park is located within five minutes of many convenient centers such as grocery stores, Wal Mart, a hospital, or gas stations. Below is a short (but not comprehensive) listing of area stores you may need during a visit to the track.
Gas Stations- Follow Route 20 West at the North end of the track property to locate two gas stations.
Grocery- Gardner’s SuperValu offers Norwalk Raceway Park guests with a “Norwalk Racer Card” an exclusive 10% discount on their grocery bill; excluding alcoholic beverages and cigarettes. Follow Route 20 West at the North end of the track to Route 250 in Norwalk. Turn Right. Gardner’s is located in a plaza down the road on the left hand side.
Hospital- Fisher Titus Medical Center is the official health care provider of Norwalk Raceway Park. Emergency Room treatment is available, as well as a full range of healthcare needs, options, and services. Fisher Titus is a very short drive from Norwalk. Follow Route 18 on the south end of the track property to the Route 20 bypass. Travel West on Route 20 to reach the next exit, Route 250. Turn Right. The hospital is on your immediate left.
RV Sales and Service- Wilcart RV is located on Route 250 North about ten miles away. They stock parts, supplies, hitches, and a knowledgeable staff is on hand for assistance.
Super Wal Mart- A short ten minute drive for all your needs twenty four hours a day! Follow Route 20 West into town, turn right on Milan Ave. across from the big Catholic Church, and follow Milan Ave. through the business district until you reach a stop light at the intersection of Walden Blvd. Turn left. Wal Mart will appear ahead on your right.
Tires, Air, etc.- Harlow Specialty Tires and Wheels is located right on the property of Norwalk Raceway Park. Harlow is open twelve months out of the year, open from 8AM to 6PM on weekdays, and later on race days and weekends when the track is open. Harlow stocks all the latest makes and models of tires. An air hose is available on the side of his building facing the track.
Pharmacies- Need medicine? Norwalk has five drug stores; the closest is a short drive Route 18 to the Route 20 bypass, West. Exit at the next interchange, Route 250 North. Kaiser Wells Pharmacy is on your right about a quarter mile down the road. Kaiser Wells is open until 8:00 weekday evenings, 4:00 on Saturday; Sunday closed.
